About Kinghorn Chondros
From desert encounters to green tree pythons.
What began as a childhood fascination with the reptiles of the Mojave Desert grew into a lifelong commitment to keeping and understanding remarkable species.
Our involvement with reptiles began in childhood, exploring the Mojave Desert. Finding, observing, and carefully handling the many reptile species that inhabit the region sparked a fascination that quickly became much more.
Over the years, we have kept a wide range of reptiles—from colubrids to monitor lizards and chameleons. Every species brought something different, but we ultimately found green tree pythons to be the most rewarding animals to keep. Their beauty, individuality, and complexity continue to deepen our appreciation for them.
Today, Kinghorn Chondros is focused on thoughtfully building a collection of exceptional green tree pythons. As the collection develops, our goal is to produce distinctive designer animals through carefully considered pairings, responsible husbandry, and respect for every animal in our care.
